Over the years, I noticed that radon levels in my basement were increasing, so I decided it was time to install a radon dome over the sump pump reservoir instead of using a generic cap. After purchasing a Jackel Sump Dome, I chose to have "Honey Go Fix It" install the unit due to the complexity of my dual sump pump system and their competitive pricing. Scheduling the installation with Alexis was easy, and Jamie and Shayn arrived earlier than expected, clearly eager to get started installing the dome. They quickly began the installation process while taking a conservative approach to ensure everything fit well and to minimize any changes to the existing infrastructure. I appreciated their attention to detail and the fact that they took their time to complete the installation properly. Additionally, they were easy to talk to throughout the process.

An Excellent Experience
For the sake of brevity, this is a summary of an excellent experience. I contacted Honey Go Fix It on Sunday, 03/23/25; a person answered the phone and scheduled an appointment for Monday. The service person arrived on time and performed excellent service. Michael was professional and respectful of our property while replacing the pressure tank on our water well system. He cleaned up the work area and removed the tank and old system parts. The work was well done, and everyone I spoke to, either in person or on the phone, was very nice.

I had a small leak in my expansion tank, and they scheduled a technician to come out right away. I was given several quotes, about $1,100 to replace the expansion tank, and up to $9,900 for a tankless system, which I had asked about. Due to the pricing, I chose to repair the expansion tank.
After looking into it myself, I found that expansion tanks typically cost between $50 and $200 depending on size. I understand that labor and service calls cost money, but given the short install time, it made me feel like I should have gotten more quotes before moving forward.
Update: After my review, the company contacted me and walked me through the situation. There was an internal pricing issue, and they corrected it with a refund of the difference in price. I appreciate them taking responsibility and working with me to resolve it fairly.

We had an issue with our toilet coming loose, so I called HGFI again because we were happy with the work they did on a previous visit. They were out here within a day but made sure we had a second toilet to use in the meantime, which we do.
Our toilet was old, cheap, cracked, and coming loose from the floor. It cost us more for them to go and buy a new toilet, but we chose to do that, so they bought an American Standard toilet and installed it. The flange was broken and there was a little bit of water damage, so they also had to replace/repair that, along with a corroded water valve. My husband was here and he used to do home improvement, so we know all this was legit. They also ran into some pipe issues which involved some of the plumbing that is accessible from our garage, so they fixed that, too. After they completed all of this work, we found a leak, so they came back the next day and fixed it. It was only from condensation building up on a pipe that was connected to what they replaced, so they had that fixed in no time.
And again, we are happy with the work, the price, and the employees. Over the two days Michael, Trevor and Shayne (the owner) came out. They are very nice and they know their stuff.
I didn't mention this in my last review, but they charge by the price of the job, not by an hourly rate. This job took a while because of the pipes from the toilet to the ones inside the walls of the garage, so that was good for us.
I highly recommend this company and will use them again when we need a plumber.
